Barolo DOCG Salvano red wine - Italy - Piedmont

Description

The Barolo DOCG is one of the best red wines from Piedmont. The vineyards are located in the Monforte d'Alba area and are called Nebbiolo da Barolo. The grapes from which this Barolo is made are harvested in October, packed in red wooden crates and taken to the cellar. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a temperature of around 28-30°C; then the wine is transferred to oak barrels, where the Barolo ages for 2 years.
