The Nero d'Avola from Cantina Fina is an organic red wine made from an autochthonous grape variety that is believed to have originated in Sicily. The red grape variety is almost exclusively found on the island, only a few hectares can be found in Calabria and Australia. Literally translated, "Nero d'Avola" means "the black one from Avola", the name can be explained by the deep dark color of the berries. For a long time, the wine made from it was mainly used as a blend wine. The strong, but at the same time very smooth and full-bodied wines are now the flagship of the island.
